Edwin Jack-Chapman is an experienced, versatile and highly proficient guitarist, bassist and composer/arranger. He has been actively studying guitar since age 13 and has taught guitar since 2014. Graduating with a 1st class honours degree in popular music performance, Ed is a competent performer in all styles of music/guitar through playing in a variety of performance settings, ranging from musical theatre production band pits to festivals and street party shows, but has largely specialised in solo acoustic guitar and classical guitar, having performed solo guitar arrangements of pop songs and traditional classical pieces at formal events, i.e weddings, birthdays as well as accompanying singers in acoustic duos.

Edwin always strives to make lessons as effective and enjoyable for students as possible, tailoring lessons specifically to his students learning style to guarantee a productive learning environment, in which all students can achieve their goals as musicians.

Additionally, he performs in and composes for his own fusion project, Strinkeltet, plays bass for heavy metal band Barbora and guitar in a Latin Jazz/pop/Musical theatre inspired project with singer Paulina Raad. His influences vary from pop/funk fusion bands like Snarky Puppy and Brother Strut to acoustic guitarists Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins, as well as more modern acoustic guitarists such as Jon Gomm, Antoine Dufour and Ben Lacy.
