The London Guitar Academy currently offers lessons in guitar, bass guitar, and music theory. All lessons are tailored to the ability level and goals of each student.
The London Guitar Academy is proud to bring world-class music education to Queens’s Park, Kilburn, and all of London. Our school offers students custom-tailored music lessons inspired by techniques proven faster than traditional techniques used by schools. In addition, The London Guitar Academy provides the same teachers, training, books and philosophy as those found at all the top music academies presented in our own warm friendly way.
LESSONS:
Guitar and Bass lessons will include the following topics:
- Scales and Chords on the guitar using the CAGED system
- Music reading including sight reading
- Instrument techniques including picking, finger positioning, and articulations.
- Song Learning (Student’s choice, of course)
- Students may also choose to study music theory along with the topics listed above

Music Theory lessons will include the following topics:
- Musical keys and the circle of fifths
- Scale and chord construction
- Ear training
- Chord/Scale relationships for composing and improvising
- Analysis of song structure including melody, chord progressions, and rhythm
- Song writing techniques
